Company accounts and tax in cs

Hi,

How much benefcial it will be if I join a CA crash course for Company Accounts and Tax of CA  considering that I am a CS executive student.Will it be a waste of time and money ?  How much similiar these subjects are in both CA and CS? Will it be useful for me in the upcoming exams?
