Husband is an assessee. Wife s non assessee. House property s in the name of wife and housing loan s obtained in the name of wife.
Can the husband claim deduction u/s 24(b) n 80C -principal repayment, where the entire repayment s made out of husband's income
housing loan without incometax details?
I dont know how a non assesse got a home loan without income proof etc.
However the deduction will not be available u/s24(b) for the husband as the house is not in his name. He can neither get 80C benefit.
