Chartered Accountants population is increasing.

I think "wo din door nahin jab hum jaise normal B.com Pass ki koi value nahin reh jaayegi jinko kabhi companies mein Accountant ki job mil jaya karti thi ab sab companies Ca rakhengi har choti bari accounts ki post par."

and pls note MNC's & some MNBanks has already started this. they appoint cashier etc at front desk, with CA minimum qualifications.

I think excessive of everything is bad. chahe kisi bhi cheej ki ho... aaj har Bacha jo Commerce line mein aata hai PCC to jaroor try karta hai.. agar tukka lag gaya to... aage bhi try karta hai..."

Mujhe to lagta hai, ek din companies ke accounts mein keval Chartered Accountants hi honge...

Rightly said by Praveen. The numbers of Chartered Accountants are increasing in such speed that if the ICAI allows it to continue it will certainly lose its reputation.

but har cheej ke ek limit hoti hai aur cheej ek samay per ek cheej ko overtake karti hai.. aaj se 20 to 30 yrs pehle b.com badi cheej thi aaj kuch nahi hai.. god knows aajse 20 30 sal baad kuch aur aa jaye.. aur ca kuch na rahe.. thatswhy always built a knowledge not a degree .. degree never works always ur knowledge counts i think i am one of the most eligible person for saying this comment.. Aur wo din door nahin kyonki aajkal har koi Chartered Accountancy ko Gaajar, Mooli Samajhta hai or khaane ko chala aa jata hai

There is no matter of whether  CA(s) strength is  increasing or decreasing. I am talking about the passion observed in CA Student.  We have observed that a number of CA Students are not only doing their course only,  in fact they are enjoying their course. They feel proud to be associated with the Chartered Accountancy.

Sorry,but you all can see that now a days everybody after 12th go for commerce & we know that commerce has only 3 favorite course-CA,CS,CWA.i think 75 % people opt CA course because of brand image." Ati her Cheej ki Buri hoti hai" in my opinion ICAI shioud think seriously about increasing no of CA`s rather then making money.till 2 years back the passing students ratio was 2 to 5 % now ratio increases uup to 30 %.....this will create problem on going forward.

I dont understand that why professional Institutes have gone mad. Recently ICSI has also announced that India requirs at least 50000 CS in the next 6 years. (what is silently conveyed by this messege is that it will compromise in quality to increase quantity). Similar thing with ICAI. It has already more than 150000 CA in India and now ICAI has already compromised in its quality. Please do not take it otherwise but we can see many CA without basic accounting knowlegde. It is slowly but steadily decreasing the image of CA in the eye of Corporate Sector. I think ICSI is also planning to follow the same path ( or has already started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)and if it does the CS will also start loosing reputation in the same way as their CA friends. This is also demoralising us who have passed at the tough time.
