Changing company registered address to residential address

Change in registered office is divided into many categories like:

1) change within local territory

2) change outside local territory but within jurisdiction of same ROC

3) change in ROC within state

4) change in state, etc

Thanks for the response, Adnan. It is within the same local territory. The scenario is : During incorporation we gave my address as the registered address. We took an office space and moved the registered address there, which was just next to the residence. Now we have given up the office space and operating from my residence again.

In your case you need the following documents for Form 18.

1) A board resolution for changing the registered office

2) Address proof 

3) NOC by Director (I am assuming that the new registered office is owned by Director)

The new premises is rented by me (one of the directors). What are the documents required in this particular case ?

Do we need to show the owner's ownership proof in form of property tax paid receipt, etc.

In this case you will need a copy of leave and license agreement and NOC from the owner that you are permitted to use this address as the registered office of your company.
