Changes in company act

For CA-IPC Nov’14 exams, 53 sections out of 98 sections notified on 12.09.2013 were applicable. Later on, 8 sections were withdrawn by ICAI (407 to 414) vide announcement dated, 12.09.2014. Hence, effectively 45 sections were applicable.

Now for May’15 exams, relevant notified sections 1 to 122 of the Companies Act, 2013 up to 30.09.2014 are applicable, except sections 75, 48, 66, 97, 98 and 99.

Regarding sections 407 to 414 of the Companies Act, 2013, there is not any official confirmation/announcement by the ICAI for May'15 exams but neither they have been included in the applicable study material. Hence, due to lack of clarity, a rational view may be taken.

Whether to study from the ICAI materials or any other book can be best answered by you. Go according to your needs but keep an eye on ICAI materials for a comprehensive preparation.

Regarding the above confusion, few days ago sent a mail to Board of Studies - ICAI and received a confirmation mail from their Sr. Executive Officer, that provisions of sections 407-414 of the Companies Act, 2013, relating to NCLT and NCLAT are not covered in the syllabus for CA-IPC May’15 Exams.

Out of dese notified sections 1 to 122 of co act 2013  can u please tell me how many are for ca final....coz a part of dese must be in ipcc also ..?
