Hello everyone,
one of my client a salaried assessee (ITR1) received notice u/s. 143(2) from bangalore ward 14(1) from fy 10-11.
my client has shifted to mumbai may 2011. we have written letter to AO of ward 14(1) regarding transfer of ward to mumbai ward so that i can appear on behalf of my client. i advised the client to apply for new pan/correction form on the mumbai address so that ward can be chnaged in the record.
10 days back my client received the PAN ( he had applied in UTI) when i checked the jurisdiction of AO on the website still ward 14(1) bangalore is displayed.
What should i do to change the ward ?? waiting urgently for the views of the experts
