the CGST nd SGST/IGST implemented on any goods or services are same then why there is different collection amount for CGST nd SGST in same month?

in today's times of india there was a article on business page that shows the different amount for both i.e.; cgst nd sgst i didn't get cleared how the rate would flactuate as the %age of gst enacted on goods nd services are same.
cgst is on goods and agar is also on goods in the same percentage
then there should be the same amount of collection in a same month ...srishti vats
