Quick Summary
If you're a CA student interested in both finance and law, you're weighing up whether to pursue a Company Secretary (CS) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification next. The best choice depends on your future career goals. For a career in finance and financial markets, the CFA is generally recommended. If you have a strong interest in mastering corporate law, the CS qualification would be more suitable, especially if you also hold or plan to obtain an LLB degree.

CFA..
Depends on your future aspirations. If you want to make a future in Finance(including Financial Markets), CFA or FRM is recommended. However if you still like to master laws, CS would be fine. CS would be an even better option if you had a LLB degree.
