yes .. it is an added advantage .. there are 5 modules and the course can be completed in 6 months or even in lesser time depending upon the preparation you have done.. it has

1. retirement planning,

2. tax planning,

3. investment planning

4. Insurance planning

5. Estate planning (Builds on all the above module)

you need to have 3 years experience in financial sector ... if you have completed CA , you can directly write the challenge status ..ie. directly module 5 ... need not write module 1 -4 ...

you will get jobs in wealth management ,, portfolio management ,, insurance companies ,, asset management companies ,,, there are very few numbers of CFP in india .. the profession will definitely boom in the future ...

yes .. you can do CFP .. graduates can do CFP ... even students who have cleared 12th can do CFP ...

for graduates the CFP designation will be given only after completing 3 years exp in finance field ... for 12th pass students ,, they will be given the designation after completing 6 years exp in finance field ...
