Cenvat credit on imported capital goods

hai, pls help to calculate cenvat credit on imported machinery ( capital good s for manufacturing unit). some  machinery purchased in the previous year  and others in current year. we register in central excise in the current year.  How we calculate the cenvat credit on the machinery in the previous year and current year.

You can avail full credit on capital goods received in the previous year and 50% credit on thr goods received in the current year.

The year you register youself in Excise avail 50% of the credit and avail 50% in the next financial year.The date of purchase has no bearing in avaiment of Cenvat Credit.

yoy can claim 100% credit in current year in respect of machinery purchased in previous year.Subject to condition that you have not claimed depreciation under income tax as per section 32 on that part of the value of capital goods, which represents the amount of duty on such capital goods. 

And

50% credit in respect of machinery purchased in current year.
