If ........
a manufacturing Company receives services from GTA and paid Service tax on 02 types of freight.....
(i) Freight paid for input of materials i.e. Input Freight
and
(ii) Freight paid for output (sales) of products i.e. Outwars Freight
Que :- Can a manufacturing company claim CENVAT credit for both such freight?????
CENVAT credit can be taken on input freight.
But in case of Output freight it is a matter of litigation and various court had given varous judgment on this issue. you should take expert opinion on output freight.
