I want to know that suppose for the payment of Service tax for the month of Feb 09 on 5th March 09 can I take Cenvat Credit available upto 05th March 09 or I have to take it upto 28th feb 09

You can avail Cenvat Credit only upto end of previous month
The credit for ST charged by vendors is available on payment by the receiver to that extent. Credit is not available for payments made beyond the last date of the month.
