Sir,
Central excise rate for fully paid @ 12%(Baisc Duty) + 2% ( Ed. Cess)+ 1% (S H Ed. Cess) = 12.36%
i.e. if value 1000 = Ten excise duty to be calculated 1000
Basic 120
Ed. cess 2.4
S & H Cess 1.2
Total 123.6
