CASE LAWS IN EXAM...

I wanted 2 knw how 2 write case laws in exam....i.e r only d names of d parties involved enuf..or r v supposed 2 write d year,court,state,etc..

eg : CIT vs. Bangalore Club (2006) 287 ITR 263 (Kar.).

den just CIT vs. Bangalore Club is enough..or d whole citation is 2 b written...

n wat bout d sections ??

all d sections in all d ques r 2 b written ??

No Bhumika, it is not expected from a Student that he should remember the all facts (even No's in brackats). So you just use " CIT Vs BANGALORE CLUB". It is enough to get good marks in exams.

However, Sections must be remembered to have much better impression in exams. So must try to remember the sections exactly.

Bhumika no need to write the name of case law untill ur not 1000% sure.. if u write wrong casee law than you will not get any thing.. and if u write the case law it will not give u much impact.. thatswhy its always advisable that until ur not sure with case law and section number dont write.. because inst is not expecting from u that u rem every thing
