CAPITAL GAINS ACCOUNT SCHEME

i not know details about capital gain account, but i can share some thing about it. whenever we go to bank for depositing amount in cap. gain account, if we not told specifically to open capital gain account then the banker will open normal account and credits to that account.

banker do like this because cap.gain account interest rate is more than normal account so cofirm before depositing amount whether cap. gain account is opened or not.

Capital Gain account is generally opened in every Nationalized Bank. like, SBI, Bank of Baroda etc.

as per my knowledge, interest is also paid on the balance kept in the said account.
