Cant clear ipcc

Dear Bhaskar,

I fully understand your situation. I am not a C.A. but all my friends and most of my relatives are. Observing them, I have the following points to write, if these help you :

1. To improve your English, keep an English to Bengali dictionary by your side while studying. Whenever you feel confused about the meaning of words, please look up the dictionary to find it's Bengali meaning. There are many foreign terms (specially Latin) in subjects like Law. please keep a standard English to English dictionary (e.g. Oxford) or better still ,a Law Lexicon(dictionary), if possible to understand the meaning of these terms and not simply memorise them.

2. For theory papers, I think the best way to remember them is to practise writing as much as possible. This will clear your concepts as well.

3. For drowsiness, please sleep atleast 6-8 hour at night. Remember, night is for sleeping. Also, if you are studying at home, try to take short naps in the afternoon (not long sleep). This will refresh you up later in the afternoon/evening.

4. After taking tuitions, please practise those chapters regularly at home, otherwise you will surely forget, this happens with everybody.

5. Finally, follow the CA Club posting for many good tips from experts and students which will benefit you tremendously.

Its not just your problem, its the challenging course with very wide syllabus. If you are saying this at Intermediate level you can't even imagine the depth and vastness of syllabus at Final level. You need to have a robust repeatative revision plan in place, have a high turnover of subjects so that you don't lose touch of a subject for a period longer then 2/3 days. Use ICAI study inputs at its fullest as your base in preparation. Good luck.

Hi Bhaskar,

It is not possible to learn all theory & practical subjects,so you just understand it and make short notes from it like write all Formulas in Pratical subjects and Key Points in Theory subjects at one place. 

I think you should refer Icai's latest PRACTICE MANUAL (it includes last 7 attempts questions & answers) and latest REVISIONARY TEST PAPER i.e RTP.

Are you getting a good night's sleep? If yes, you shouldn't be feeling drowsy all time. I could be due to some deficiency so you should get yourself checked by a doctor first. That's most probably interfering with your concentration too. You don't need very good command over language to clear IPCC. Most CAs can't even construct a correct sentence. If your concepts are clear, this shouldn't really be happening. You could try solving previous years' question papers. I guess its mostly a lack of confidence you're suffering from. There's still time for exams. Best of luck. Oh and if you're 23 you'll be a CA by 26 which is pretty young!

dear if it is possible for you , obtain some examined paper from icai then go for deatiled analysis....u fell better ....nd just try to build ur confidence first..think that u can do it nd i.m sure u will do it...

Its matter of our thinking and dedcation towards studies every person has not perfect but through our confident we can do any thing iam also a ca ipcc student i have suffered from same problems but not now because i read untill i understood the concept try and try untill u get it be confident think ican

Go with accountancy first in the both the group we have accounts first try to compelte both group accounts very conceptually and if you strong in this 2papers you wil get easily score 140 the balance marks for you to clear is 210 just get in all subjects for 45 marks . For 45 marks you don't need very good english. Normal english is enough all the best man.

Brother First of all i wana say you that you are not only one who not clear ipcc in 5th attempt.... in CA there are so many students suffering from this.. i also clear ipcc first group in 3rd attempt and second group in 4th attempt. so i just suggest you dont loose your hope because u said you wana do CA... remove all negative thinking from you mind and study without any tention....in fresh and free mind... this is only your thinking that you forgot all but if you study again you will sure got your confidence back..and you feel in many topics that you already know about this .... think positively and give your best you will sure get successs.... ek baat jo muje sikhne ko mili itne attempts dekar .. ki har attempt me humko pata chalta hai ki humne pichli baar kya galtiya ki thi...  so tum apni sari galitya pechano and unko repeat mat karo... aur iss baar kuch exam me kuch alag karo mean itna zor laga do ki checker ko number dene hi pad jaye... alag means theory me tum agar 5 marks me 5 lines hi likhte ho toh tume 3 marks milte honge.. try karo ki 5 me se 4.5 de wo tume .... uss answer me jitna ata hu sb kuch likh do charts ya diagrame ata ho jo module me ho wo bhi banake aa jao.... dekho CA me pass hona hai toh tume kuch alag karna hi hoga .... all the best

First of all ,enhance your self confidence.Tell yourself "I can do anything".Remember you are a CA not by words but by actions(work harder,determination, patience,etc).Fight for growth not for exams.Time management plays all the role to succeed in life..make monthly,weekly &hourly planner...you will beat your own records All the very best !
