In case of death of sole proprietor when the business is transferred to his legal heir, then we have to cancel the GST registration of deceased person. Now my question is that Whether we have to fill the details of input in the cancellation form.
In term of Rule 20, need to furnish Form REG-16 & need to provide details for closing stock & liable to pay Tax on same .
But if as In case of death of sole proprietor if the business is continued by any person being
transferee or successor, No GST liability arises on stock lying on the day & the input tax credit which remains un-utilized in the electronic credit
ledger is allowed to be transferred to the transferee by filing ITC 02 .
