as per my knowledge return cannot be filed after 1 year from the end of relevant assessment year. therefore return of a.y. 09-10 cannot be filed now.

Yes,, u r right.

the return of income cannot filed after completion of 1 year from the relevant A.y.

i.e for A.y. 09-10, it is 31-3-11., and now it is not possible to file ROI,
