Dear All,

I get very much disgusted at the very thought of not qualifying at the CA Final examinations.Inspite of several attempts, I still could not get through my CA Final-Group-II.(which is the only group left). I am also not understanding the reason for the same. After studying a lot on the subjects of GR-II and appearing in the exams, the result is a big 'F'. I am unable to understand whether this is happening with me alone or with many other CA Friends all over India and abroad. At times, I just want to leave the course and run away without wasting any more time on this. But at times, it appears that I am taking a wrong step. I am unable to take a right decision due to the circumstances I am in. Now a days, students are qualifying at a very young age.Am I not upto the mark? or what is really going wrong with me or is ICAI playing with the lives of the students as has been posted by a few of my friends in these forums. There should be an end to all this, so that we can concentrate more on our jobs and family life. CA Course is really ruining the lives of several students with its way of marking the answers at the CA final examinations. Some times the marks awarded are more than what we expect and some times it is in the reverse. Can any one please help me in deciding whether to continue giving the attempts or quit. Thanks in advance

See the logic is simple.....failure in result means some where or other you r doing some thing wrong,either ur studying style,way of writing etc etc......just keep calm talk to proper person and take a well decided step,work on it.......All the best

HI dixit,

Very good morning,

Just one suggestion, take any of the previous years question paper and write answers as if you are writing the exams, i.e you should not refer any books and you should complete the exam within 3 hours or you should write only for 3 years.

Then compare your answers with the suggested answers given by the ICAI and then take a call whether it is your mistake on preparation part or it is the mistake of the ICAI on valuation of your answer sheet.

But dont think that you can't clear the exam. You can very well clear the exams with the positive frame of mind.

i just wan t to suggets one thing that ...onbtain copy of your last exam from icai and match it with suggetsed answer and find the wakeness and evaluate yourself ....

Brother. Same Situation is with me right now. Last Time I got 59 in IDT and Failed in Direct tax in Total I got 184 Marks total. In my Previous to previous atempt I got Very Good Marks In Direct Taxes.

I am not suggesting you. ICAI Has 10 Lacs Students and 2.50 Lacs Members in 65 years and in every session 5000 to 6000 qualify CA (Final) Exam. that means out of around 1.50 Lacs CA Final Students only maximum 7000 to 8000 will qualify in january and rest will fail again and again.

you can calculate , CA Institute in their journal mention always that we are proud to have more than 10 lacs students. 2.50 Lacs Members , you can calculate

Its not your fault , If CA Institute Do not want to produce More CA . IIf CA Institute Do not want it will be very difficult to passs CA Exams for CA students.

CA Institute wants to encourage Graduate to Do CA Course , Only for Entry into CA. But They cannot ensure whether they will pass them or not.

you can calculate whether these 10 lacs students will become CA or not , If these 10 Lacs worked hard whether this Institute will produce more than 1 lacs CA out of these 10 lacs Answer is Absolutely Not.

You people are expecting we will become CA one day. Its depend on luck . Either out of these 10 lacs rare chances.

According to my experience, Go for the job but side by side do study on regular basis. Its actually not a good idea but it lessen your frustration. Make sure you donot leave study!!

Hi friend, This is not a consolation. .very simple to advice but difficult to act on it. My suggestions would be first you write in a paper what are your strength and weaknesses. .Make a strong decision and clear your CA at the earliest as the new syllabus is coming soon. Remember if others can clear u too can clear .All the very best.

As I think don't give up bro think about your past experience and compare now you will find that you are better than yesterday ..... So think that if you will try so you must be improved Yarrr still I m in cpt and I am, waiting for my result so now what so should I do in that day

Just realise ur mistakes whatever u r doing. There is no fault of icai every time. U do ur best and see the result. It's been pisitive so stay in positive mind Don't give up Happy new 2015 and this year will bring loreals and rewards to u Bst of luck for ur exam & future

Hi friend,

First of all, you have to give a place POSITIVITY in your life. Things may go wrong for many reasons in life just like the exam issue right now you're facing. There are many reasons of failing in the exam and specially in CA exams like vague and inappropriate answers, your style of writting the papers and even spelling mistakes may down your score in the exam. Do not trust a people who talk about luck and even you should not relay on your luck in case of CA exams because I don't think there is anyway to pass CA exams without hardwork and an appropriate technics in the written exam.

You should carefully read examiners review on each papers published on the ICAI wabsite on BOS knoledge portal to evalute your answers and you will also find solved papers of previous exams so read it and evalute your performance.

My dear friend... as a CA finalistYou passed CPT/GRADUATE and IPCC G1/G2, cleared ITT, OP, GMCS I/GMCS II, 3 years of articleship and now you are talking about to quit??? I think it would be a biggest mistake in your entire life...

Treat every attapt of your exam as GOODWILL and it would make you more efficient and skilled Charerted Accountant in your life.
