For AY 2011-12........... No......
But for FY 2011-12......... yes provided any refund due........... under section 119(2)(b).....
ifAssessing Officer issue 142 (1) for return filing or us. 119 (2)(b) if refund matter.
yes. you can file your income tax return if the IT department has issued you a 142(1) notice.
