Does top company give more importance to parctial exposure or CA final attempt in campus interview

A good academic record combined with practical knowledge along with your performance in the interview are some of the key reasons for an employer to recruit good candidate during campus selection.

Practical knowledge, general knowledge, value addition skills are not considered in the ICAI campus placements.

The only criteria is the number of attempts.

Corporate world believes that number of attempts is the only measure of capability.

Practical knowledge can be shown in an interview but an interview chance is given only to those CA freshers who cleared finals in 1-2 attempts.

So, practical knowledge with multiple attempts will not result in campus placement.

For many big companies Initial stage of campus placements comprises of aptitude test too. You should focus on that too.

It depends on the company. Dont have preconceived thoughts that if you have taken many attempts you will not be selected.Questions will be basically asked from your resume, then technical questions based on job profile, important ammendments, etc. You must convince yourself and the interviewer that you are fit for the job.

In ICAI Campus, Only Attempts matter. Nothing Else. No other Skills matter.

I Qualified in 3rd Attempt. I Was Shortlisted only by One of the Big4 and No other companies. My suggestion is if u are Qualified in 1st or 2nd Attempt. Attend Campus. or else try Off campus. Dont Waste Spending 250 Rs on Campus Registration.
