I am lookig at how to obtain capital gain ( short term & long term ) details from mutual fund investments.

I have investment in many ( more than 10 ) mutual fund schemes across many ( more than 10 ) fund houses. To complicate the matter more, the investment are thru various channels also.  Many investments are in the nature of SYSTEMATIC TRSNFER PLAN ( STP ) from LIquid fund to Equity Fund. The investments is over a horizon of 3 years.

How to obtain single CAPITAL GAIN statement based on PAN NUMBER , CAN no Identifty.

Is there any website / source / data where I can get consolidated Capital Gain statement and i can file the I T Return accurately.

Obtaining Capital Gain statements from all the fund houses individually  is one sure way but to combine and making it an consolidate and very difficult and cumbersome task as few are equity funds and few are debt funds

Download consolidated statements from CAMS &/or KARVI

Thanks Dear Mr Dhirajlal,

I have attempted that ( CAMS & KARVY ) but there are fund houses like Franklin which is not coevred by them.

Both Karvy and CAMS have different format.

CAMS offer Single Realised Cap gain statement of all funds serviced by them, while Karvy Gets individual staments from  all fund houses.

It is an nightmare !

Yes, but you get the calculation for whole year from single platform except Frenklin Templton. (the fund house provides own report)

We have to just fill it in excel sheet to get final figure; be it long term or short term, both seperately.

sure, but is there an ready solution, where it is generated online.

May be NSDL / CDSL or AMFI etc ?

Not facilitated as on date,  dreaming for such wonder world....

Obtain a CAS from either CAMS or Karvy in PDF Format (from probably 01-01-1990). Upload it into VRO (ValueResearchOnline) Portfolio section. You may have to check if all the schemes are correctly identified. Else, you can correct them in "Snapshot" with show Transactions and edit them. If your holdings are properly shown, you go to Gains/Loss section and use the FY pull-down for current FY. Then export them into Excel Format. The other alternative is to join Kuvera.in. Once you upload your CAS, the reports/statements section gives you CG in pdf or xlsx format
