Every Profession has their own PROS & CONS that doesn't means that one is better than other....Its upon your own calibre that how you gonna excel in your life and for that even a single profeesional degree is enough .

Guys tell me for

1. CA is it compulsory to do training IN either CWA or CS.

2. Is there is any exemption in  the Either Of CWA Or CS after doing the CA

Dear all

I am sorry to say that all you people are not understanding the psyche of PHANI KUMAR and I must confess that I also agree with him to some extent.

The problem here is that CA students have this inherent superiority complex that makes them believe that ca is the numero uno course and all other courses are petty and less rewarding. They are so much emotionally attached with this course that can’t tolerate a word against this course.THIS INCLUDES ME ALSO.

Because I don’t like beating around the bush ,I will categorically explain my opinion through an example:

Suppose there are  2 class 12 th commerce passouts (both are mediocres). The first one enrolls for CA and the second one goes for ICWA.The latter completes his CWA at the age of 22 and gets placed in a maharatna psu at a salary of 7 lacs per annum. He also enjoys his student days and college life too.

The CA guy is still struggling and till 25 he is still unqualified and earning a paltry sum of maximum 15 k a month.Besides this, he has to bear the wrath of his parents, relatives and his ca boss always keeps him on tenterhooks.Atlast ,when he qualifies he gets a shock of his life when he gets shortlisted only by genpact with a pay packet of 4 lacs.

We all know the level of knowledge and expertise CA students have, still these students don’t get a fair deal and are at the receiving end.

We have to think from point of view of getting settled in life rather than attaching a prestige issue with CA.

Mind you I have seen many of seniors and friends who have left ca and are living a life of mediocrity and there are also a few of them who have slipped into severe depression.

So guys choice is yours.

ALSO GUYS I AM NOT PRO ICWA.I AM TOTALLY NEUTRAL IN MY OPINION

Comments and criticism welcome

@ phani kumar

you are saying cwa is damn easy because you are in ca final

ask any student who is doing cwa only,he will give u smashing reply.

i am 200%sure that u will clear it with ur left hand.

This is an undisputed fact that a ca student can clear cwa and cs like a cake walk

Ravi  is absoultely right.

Phani Kumar  behaving like a kid . He is saying in 15 days  study he will clear CWA inter .

Actually he is not counting the entire year when he was studying for ca whose topics were same as of cwa . So if a guy who is only doinf cwa has to study atleast 8 months.

Phani you are just wasting time on such things. Pls stop and do your job.

Hi Friends,

Went through all posts and I felt to narrate my views too...

I am a M.com Pas out student and did my Post graduate in marketing and MBA finance distance learning. My age is 25 and I am working with ICICI Mutual fund as Asst. Manager in Sales my sal is 7.5 lks now. I have total exp of 5 years as I did my m.com MBA and Post gard in marketing  bydistance learning. Last June I got registered for CWA Inter and I cleared my CWA Inter Group1 and now in June I am going to apper for Group 2. I agree with Phani that CWA is easier than CA and is flexible too in terms of articleship.I choose CWA because of the same reason> But comparing CA and CWA is allmost like comparing Apples with Oranges. Both course are different and have their own specialisation. One should have vision of their goals and then decide what he or she should persue. there are lot many deciding factors when you get a job. Mere Passing CA or CWA and on that basis comparing salaries is not the right approach to judje the 2 proffessional courses.

When you have skill and vision of your goal even a B.com graduate can achieve heights. But professional courses along with skills and vision will shorten your journey to those heights.

Happy studying....

The ICWAI institute is doing the Job of branding there students from last two years . So they are getting good jobs .  It all matters  "Time"  and nothing else.

in india more then 70 lakhs MBA students in various universities. according to you their is more compitation amoung them ??

totally irrelevant logic !!!

Thank you ravi Sir... i welcome ur concern as a CA...

And about Phani's post.... hear are my views...

My dear Phani and for all those who are studying for money....

I was infact wondering ... It is pathetic that people are studying for Money...(not all ... atleast not myself..)

Please don't compare knowledge to money... money is required to live but don't make money as life...

wat is the darn use of becoming a CA without proving to the world that u are a true professional...

Still our Indian CA course is second in the world.. CWA and CS i don't know which rank it stands...

Why don't we the young generation try and strive to make our accounting proffession the best in the world...

No one is going to remember a CA who earns some 50 to 75 lakhs per annum...

But people remember the CA who has shown some professionalism in the work...

The good example is Mr. T.N.Manoharan Sir.. He was awarded Padma Sri ... not for earning some 50 to 75 lakhs but for his service as a CA to the nation and the ICAI...

I dont have to speacially say about the boon he has given to us " SWP-Direct tax laws " for students....

So.. as a good friend i request you not study to prove something but please study to learn something...

Moreover education is not a child's play... it is the key of becoming a MAN from a CHILD... hope u will turn into a MAN...

My apologies if i am rude in conveying the message i meant... but i really mean it....
