Please advise on given problem-
A company appoint ABC& associates CA firm as statutory auditor for 5 years in AGM held in 2017 but after few month firm changes its name and fresh registration no. And told company now about this.
What is the legal compliance in this regard to inform ROC by company or by auditor.

CA firm changed its name.

In my view, there is no provision for such intimation to ROC. What u can do is mention the same thing in notice of AGM and attach the proof of such name change in form AOC-4
