Dear All,

I am CA final student. I have cleared my PE-II in May 2007 and I got registered for Final (old scheme) in July 2007. After that I was not able to clear final exams and automatically converted to new scheme. Now I want to appear for Nov 2012 exams. Please clarify whether I have to re-register for the final course or not as 5 years have elapsed from the month of registration?

I too had the same issue. I just went to the Regional Office and they issued me a letter stating that I have re-registered for the New Final course. Most probably you too will not need to pay any extra fee or do anything else. Just go to your nearest Regional office and ask them to re-register you.
