Just see K vaitheeswaran book before you buy another book , it is of snowman publication, same publication of manoharan of direct tax , case laws and concepts are covered very nicely
N S Govindan or rafi for Concepts (Padhuka or Banger for detailed Study and past exam questions)

refer institue january 2012 eddition book ... every thing is updated . easy lanugage too same u find in practice manuals so u no need to spend much time for revising practice mannuals .
