Also share if you have bad experience of any reference book of cost.

Try PC Tulsian's book. Its the best for self study. Also Ravi M Kishore is good. I had very bad experience bcoz of padhukas. Failed 3 times in costing reading that book.

In my opinion, if you want conceptual clarity, score marks as well as do self study, please refer ONLY the following books for Cost and OR
1) Tulsian's Advance Managment Accounting - CA (Dr.) P.C. Tulsian
2) Tulsian's Operational Research for CA-Final - CA (Dr.) P.C. Tulsian
