CA College

I think no there must be no college for CA as students will be wasting thier valuable time in enjoying college like in B.com degree and the value of CA degree would be equal to just B.com degree...........

No need of college, but institute should organize mock test, so we can evaluate us before original exam.

NO need of college but in every ICAI Bhawan Some exams ll conduct once in a m onth atleast

There is many things we get from college expect (fun or waste of time). colleges provide labrari facilities that every CA student need , teachers knowledge who distribute to us by well qualified or experience teachers that every Ca student miss is he is not a college student................or many coching centers are providing coching costly every one can not afford it but every one can afford the fee of colleges...........so its batter to creat CA colleges.................

ya I agree Ca Institute also working on this sortage or trying to fill by providing coching , selite coaching , oriantiation........but there every student can not afford.........or dont give importance to them......

college me sirf moj masti hi nahi hoti its a part of life of every student.........ya i agree studies is more important then every thing in student life.........but without fun its totaly boring life.....or study become burden on us.........

so if colleges r there they can improve i hop...............

Yeah, right, we should be happy with our own ideas and concepts and be closed to others? Don't you think like reputed Engineering/ Medical Colleges a lot of like minds can come together and discuss a lot of things which is not possible under current system? Analyse and create new ideas..

One could say there should be no coaching/ tuitions for CA course, as it is correspondence system, but people realise and change to new and good things.

Personality wise it will give students benefits, as a lot of people I see, don't have any confidence or personality like this. They don't even know how to talk, interact with new people, have diplomacy, i.e. understand what to speak and when..

An average B.Com student from a regular college may be more street-smart than an average CA student. They're like nerdy scientists of commerce..  And, hey don't consider a B.Com degree holder inferior than a CA certificate holder (please note, not a degree), I've seen a lot of plain vanilla graduates smarter than some CAs, knowledge-wise..

I feel currently it is like we are sitting alone in a dark room.

whatevar u say but I would like to say that I enjoyed my 3 years of articleship just like college,made lots of friends and learned a lot too..

But as Sidd pointed out v stay in dark room,the insti should atleast allot a batch to all,might be even for 6 months,so that we can make friends and learn more about ICAI..

THERE SHOULD BE A COLLEGE... I WOULD LOVE to go if THERE WAS A COLLEGE of CA

i mean college doesnt means bunking classes or having fun.. look at top colleges like ST.XAVIERS in kolkata or ST.STEPHENS in delhi...  all these colleges work so nice.. they have strict rules.. so that students dont skip their studies.. they enjoy their life..  meet with other students.. share , discuss ... understand their course better...

wereas in CA we hardly see students of our course unless we are in some coaching ... we dont undrstand our course untill someone has very strong aim since the begining or  if  someone fail few times.

even in CACLUBINDIA... y do we have so many problems ??? look the bulk of question being asked. The reason is simple.. no one is to guide us in a corrseponce course like CA.. but in college we could have discussed with teachers , students etc.

but as we know.. there is always a PRO and CON of every asepct.. hence a college too would have lot of CONS ..like ARTICLESHIP timing etc.
