my frnd is doing ca artcleship .she completed 2 years . she wants to stop the articleship now and want to continues the remaining one period later .its possible or not. whats the procedures in it . plz rply

What is the reason to dis-continue article training ? One must be aware that in order to appear for Examination, the candidate is required to be serving as a trainee under the principal.
She attempt 3/4 inter exams but not cleared.and now she gets an offer from a company thats why.

She can obviously do so. However, she will not remain eligible to appear for Final CA examinations. Only those who are registered as article on the 1st day of the month in which exam is held with maximum of 6 months of articleship period remaining including all the excess leaves can appear for the Final CA examinations.
She will have to obtain the permission of the institute for termination of her articleship before signing form 109 and whenever she resumes again she will have to re-registerherself with the institute.
