with in state branch transfer, delivery challan is enough. different state transfer it is treated as sale. invoice.
you need e-way bill. In e-way bill mention its a branch transfer.
Can Transfer On delivery Challan (But Not registered as under Vertical registration)
for both case e way bill necessary.
On basis of delivery challan you can prepare E-way bill. And both the documents can be used for branch transfer
