Dear Anubhav Bahi,

Your selection of books is outstanding. But i have a few suggestion keeping in view your CA Final. Hope you don't mind.

For Income Tax == Modules from Vinod Gupta Sir are best but with coaching. You may also refer V.K. Singhania for practicals.

and T.N. Manoharan or Girish Ahuja for preparation of theory.

For Corporate Law == Use of Corporate Law Bare Act is must with Bhandari Book especially for CA Final Students.

For Auditing == i would advice you to arrange Surbhi Bansal Notes for quick reference purpose.

Rest is Fine

All the Best

thanks to all........

Strategy/technique to prepare Section in Company Law (CA Final):

1. First read the Section from Bare Act as bare act contain the pure law passed by legislature/Parliament.

2. Then read the same section from your law book with full concentration. (Munish Bhandari).

3. Now it is the turn of your coaching notes. Analyse all the situations discussed in the class. Read them thoroughly.

4. Now read all the previous exam problems based on that particular section from book. Try and understand the application of section in practical problem.

If you follow the above 4 points carefully and honestly then you may consider your section finished for life. Believe me and try this method.

AS - I DONT THINK ITS POSSIBLE TO READ THE ENTIRE MPV BOOK ..IF U CAN,FINE..ELSE GO WITH THE LATEST EDITION OF RAWAT

IDT - DATEY IS THE BEST

DT - AHUJA S GOOD FOR THEORY /CONCEPTS PART

ur selection is perfect but for auditing, i would personally suggest vk agarwal..

pls advice in the above written books wat are those books which we cant' understand  ( both theory and practical) without taking coaching of respective teacher....

I PERSONALLY FEEL LIKE U HAVE TO ATTEND COACHING CLASSES FOR FIN REPO  AND ADV MGT ACC..

Hi

Thanks to all for your views.

Also suggest some tips for me as m living in small city in punjab and

never go for any coaching . I m preparing from books mentioned above

by Mr. Anubhav Jain  except V.K Aggarwal(also notes of surabhi bansal)for Auditing and Ajay Jain

for IDT. Give some ideas for preparation for auditing & corporate law.

Keep waiting for your feedback.

Dunno whether ma way of approach s correct...Anyways,

LAW

first read Bare act.then read the corresponding section n Munish Bandari, made notes for reference d day b4 exams, then solved previous yr qns.

AUDITING

1st started with Company audit & CARO

Now reading SA

once done with this, will refer new syllabus topics and then rest of the topics...

Thank you,

thanx anil gopinath

For Strategic Financial Management, I suggest to go through the following book, having lot of numericals and lengthy questions as Cases.

Financial Management, 2nd edition, By Paresh Shah, (Wiley-India, Biztantra.)

Author is Alumni of IIM ahmedabad, and senior cost and works accountants.

m confused for Audit

 Paduka or Surbhi Bansal ????????
