Hi jigjag, According to me, Padhuka's(Saravana Prasath & G.Sekar) book take care of your exam requirements. If you work out practically all the problems(or atleast 80 % of the problems) in that book, you can guarantee 70% in accounting. But, if you want to understand concepts and go for an indepth learning, then go for Shukla and Grewal
But according to me, it is enough if you restrict yourself to Padhuka's. Because, if you are attending class and waorking out Padhuka's problems, there is no chance on earth of negative results. Also don't go for too many books. Restrict yourself to study material, RTP's, Past exam questions and one good book. That's all. It will take care of your exam. This formulae applies for all the subjects.
yes PADHUKA"S is the best one witha lot of problems to work out, but do remember that institiutes book must be the prime source for any conceptual issues.
My advice is that first u work out the studty material for atleast 3 times. I cleared my PE-II in 4th attempt, in all the attempts we use to get questions from study material. Even in a workshop conducted by some CAS' they said Study material is the base for accounts (PE-II).
