Can u please tell me whether board resolution is required for purchase of furniture, laptop and the like items? if yes, please give the format.

Dear Ramya,

In companies, a power of attorney is executed in favour of departmental heads, which grants them powers to take day to day administrative decisions such as purchase of printer, furniture, laptops etc. Individual resolutions are not passed for purchasing such things.
