Board meeting via teleconference

Hi all,

being a Pvt Ltd owned by a foreign company, with a foreign director appointed in the board, i am wondering whether it might be possibile to insert in the AOA of such a pvt ltd a provision on the conducting of the company's board via videoconference, in order to enable the foreign director to participate to the Board meeting in the distance.

Would this be in compliance with indian laws and would this however require the presence of a indian director in India?
