Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether issuing a Tax Invoice instead of a Bill of Supply for exempt sales is incorrect under GST regulations. While there might be no adverse financial impact, technically, a Tax Invoice should only be issued when tax is applicable. The consensus is that a Bill of Supply is the appropriate document for exempt supplies, as it correctly reflects the absence of tax charged.

No adverse impact but technically it cannot be tax invoice since there is no tax in it.

No impact because bill of supply on exempted supply is made and there is no tax in it
