If we import machinery worth 1,00,000 Usd and pay 5,000 usd as installation fees our total remittance would be 1,05,000 usd whereas the value of consignment which will arive and on which we will pay custom and igst duties will be 1,00,000 how will we get the bill of entry filed in respect of installation charges ??
If the your Purchase Order and import Invoice shows the installation charges along with Machinery value then you will have to file Bill of Entry for the entire value ie machnery value and installtion fees and you need to pay Customs duty too on the installtion fees.
