I am in CA Final. Attempt May 2015. I have often heard that even after passing CA, getting a good job is tough due to lack of soft skills. I want to ask what are the skills should I develop and how?? Also, In which areas should I gain knowledge so that I get a better job

ERP,SAP training, perfection in ms office, well understanding in the area you want to prefer in job Like in as if you want to b in accounts Or in service tax, income tax etc..

Soft skills - speaking effectively , listening effectively , handling clientelle , convincing boss , presenting a presentation, manners , values , ethics. Think of them while doing any work and implement it. You can crack interviews by speaking more of your experiences and being very confident of yourself and the work you know.

You can develop soft skills through practice. Raj has rightly mentioned some exmples which constitutes soft skills........

Soft skills refer to the cluster of personality traits, social graces, facility with language, personal habits, friendliness..Nd optimism that mark people to varying degrees… your attitude towards others...your colleagues, your clients or your boss....Soft skills complement hard skills, which are the technical requirements of a job…!

Developing soft skills require attitudinal change... Knowledge, skill and attitude are moulded by observation and a willingness to learn…Rocker has nicely elaborated.. the areas in which you have to expertise yourself..to expect good job...!
