Best tax book for self study to get very good marks in IPCC

Dear Ganga,

        For self study purposes, T.N.Mahoran sir book is the best.He has explained everything rite from the scratch. It is very userfriendly and exam - oriented. Sinhania sir book is good. But for exam purposes, Manoharan sir is the best

i've studied from T.N. Manoharan in my P.C.C.... and i tell you.. Its the Best...

Now G. Muguntha Narayanan Sir... please suggest me also.. whether this book is good for self study in final course also...

Yes Mr. Ankit, T.N.Manoharan sir's book is extrmely gud for Final also. he has explained all the provisons in a userfriendly manner in the book.

thanks everyone...but can anyone tell me when should i buy tax book for IPCC may 2011 exam? actually it will be my 3rd attempt...can you guide me best book for rest subjects and give me some tips to clear this exam..last time i used -

law - padhuka

IT&SM - Module

Auditing - padhuka

tax - singhania

Costing & FM - padhuka

i didn't use any compiler...what should i do?

    For May 2011, u buy in january 2011. Because in that edition only, november 2010 solved question paper will be there.

Accounts:    Compiler is more than enough. Complete all the sums given in study material. Along wth this do all the problems of the previous 10 years. It will be more than enough

Auditing: Study material is enough

law: Jayaraman Sir notes is extremely good

Costing: Same as accounts. For theory, u read padukas. It is good

don't buy any Padhuka book without having a through check........ I bought IPCC Part 1 accounting book and suffered..... as there are no unsolved questions in it.

hi fenz im kausalya ,doing ipcc (self study) i bought a business law book author munish bhandari book was good. but specially business law contents such as (negosiable instuments ,payment of gratuity .......)
 i feel tough due to  lots of technical words.........  pls guide me how to go through that ..................
