Dear friends, I am an Accountant in a EOU company where there is no work of Excise. So I don't have knowledge of Excise work. I am based at Factory. I want to switch the job. Many companies in industrial area want the person who should also have knowledge of Excise. So Please suggest me short & sweet book on Excise procedure and other things.

Go for book by v s datey. Best for self study
A person who is new to CE can refer Mr.Md Rafi book,he explained every practical aspect in a clear way.His approach towards the subject is excellent and student friendly.Other authors are also fine.All the best.
Bangar is also very good book...
