can any 1 suggest a good book for self study of DT& IDT for ca final covering concepts and sums.......

for DT......VG sir modules r best......

for IDT......Bangar or deepak gupta modules r best....

Hi I have recently given CA Final Exams . In my opnion from self study perspective for DT the book by Ex-Prisedent Mr TN Manhoranan is quite good. Again pahduka is also a good option. For IDT the book by Mr. Yognedra Bagar is also quite good.

IDT-bangar is gud

these are sufficient,,,,,,,,,,,

besides this must study all cases etc in newsletter,journals.

My humble request to all the student is pls read icai text books completely & also work out last 5 years question papers. also rtp is a must. refer additional books after completing the above books.

Sir you have suggestted going throught the Institute's module first; but i think it has its flaws. Since modules are provided to srudents during enrolling in Final and students give their finals only after 2 years, the book gets obsolete and out-dated. SO it is better to keep DT & IDT Modules of ICAI in the showcase and buy recommended books and read through it. I found Bangar sufficient for IDT while DT has many good authors.

Where would i get VG Modules? IS there a soft copy floating around or is it easily available in Kolkata or Law Point stocks them?
