INSTRUCTION no. 25 TO EXAMINEES

As per para 25 of Instructions to examinees: Candidates should write the answers only in blue or blue black ink and in no other colour. Though there is no specific prohibition against the use of ball point pen, it will be advisable to use writing ink from the point of view of legibility and uniformity. Candidates are also advised not to use red, green ink, highlighter, sketch pen etc. for underlining or highlighting any sentence/para/phrase as it amounts to making distinguishing mark. Candidates are permitted to use pencils for drawing graphs, diagrams etc. However,Candidates should take care not to use pencil for writing answers.

Actually am a bit skeptical about the use of Gel pen coz gel could easily spread all over the paper if it were to come in contact with water...

Why take a chance in CA exams...?

Everyone has his/her own comfort zone regarding pen..

Surely he can seek advice which one is better, gel or ball.

And you are no one to stop him.Its Better if you dont like the topic, dont reply and demotivate anyone.

And regarding writing with " ANY " pen on exam day, is really hilarious.

Dont know about others, at least I have a comfort zone with the pen of my choice.

Apart from the ball or gel issue ,the physical characteristics of the pen such as weight, grip size etc. also affects comfortability and speed .
