I have heard about this MOU between IGNOU and ICAI which says that if a CA student is able to clear IPCC Group 1 & Group 2, he is elgible to pursue B.com (Major in accounting and finance) and will be able to complete it within a year provided that his total years (including one year at IGNOU) totals to be 3 years.
I have two questions regarding this.
1. Is it still valid? Is IGNOU still providing B.com (Major in accounting and finance) degree when cleared IPCC Group 1 & Group 2?
2. Is that 1 year degree from IGNOU in B.com (Major in accounting and finance) equivalent to 3 year degree from Delhi University (Open or regular) in B.com (Honours)?
