After much hesitation on new filing portal, we now have the excel utility back again after gap of 2 years when only Online wizards were used.
ITR2 excel downloaded this year AY2023-24, it has error in the Unlisted Shares section. If my opening balance is entered, it can be backdated as well. I dont have any Shares purchased transferred during financial year. Yet the system is asking me to enter the No of Shares and Date of Purchase.
How to resolve this?
6 to 7 days, no reply from Grievance raised on income tax portal?
Are they really serious about the complaints and grievances on the portal? An email sent to ITR Helpdesk has not been replied.
After several days, they responded saying there is no error on their side but just after my grievance they released a new version of ITR2 excel utility correcting the errors. We can see how disturbing the behaviour of the ITR grievance department is. And no protest under democracy anywhere.
