After lot of discussions with lot of people I found MS office template ie,
payroll calculator.xls is useful for automatic preparation of salary
statements.If you want that template please download it from Microsoft
website...That will be helpful
I am using Excel for preparing Salary Statements.I want to know
how excel can be used to prepare payslips automatically.Can
any one tell me the process/function which is used to convert
salary statement into salary slips.I am expecting a quick and
positive response from you...

First of all Thanks for the reply.Both of you are suggesting MS Access is
better option for generating salary slips than Excel.My Idea is based on a Excel
Sheet that will have serial no of employees,their emp.code ,Basic,HRA
other deductions etc.So now how we can automatically generate Salary slips
based on the employee serial number.If you are suggesting MS Access is
good idea please tell me how we can link MS Acess with that Excel sheet or
if you have any other ideas also using excel please share it.
