If you have interest in taxation, than proceed for it and have partnership with other person who is keen to audit and this both will serve you in sense of reward and recognition.

Tax consultant is only Accouting as to be complited. No right in the Audit.
Auditor is Accouting & Audit as to be complited a same working as per any matter's
so, this is a depedent on you
