what do u mean by attemptwise distribution of marks >>> ????distribution of marks topic wise makes sense but what is attempt wise,, abd in any case let me warn u that CA INSTI HAS NO FIXED FORMAT NOWADAYS and there is no specific or alloted TOPIC WISE MARKS,. If u compare the ca final NEW papers of last 3 attmpts u`l find great disparity in the distribution of marks topic wise ! SO DO NOT DO SELECTIVE STUDY FOR CA FINAL ! ! DON`T BELEIEVE ANYONE WHO SAYS THIS IS IMPORTANT OR THIS WIL COME FOR THIS MANY MARKS,,,,  !! kuch bhi kabhi bhi aa sakta hai !

Yash noted your point. You are right and I have seen a fixed pattern (may not be 100%) for many exams. There would be 30-40% of the said 100% coverage would be variable. Its really surprising to note that nobody has compiled the attemptwise distribution of marks. I have seen many creative stuffs from you all in this forum. Does anybody has a readymade analysis?

to mr yash, he is right in asking attempt wise mark distribution of each lesson . institute does set question paper based on the topics which was not covered in previous exams. for example take peer review question came this time as none came last two attempts. and check out this november also ,there might be such questions.  rather than might i have to use there will be such questions ... 372a will come ..... see

for example , if a lesson was not tested for last four attempts, question setter will first select those lessons and see whether there is any possibility of asking from such lessons.    then oly move on to such other areas,if nothing fits in it.  this way they cover abt 20 marks in theory subjects. and as far as practical subjects, previous attempts pattern plays a vital role. for ex: transfer costing and relevant costing was asked. it dint come for last three attempts. so it came last time. this november u wont see abc costing because last three time it came,.  to add, u might not believe those stuffs, but in realty it does happen. u need to predict it properly. i am sorry to say it does work. i have cleared my inter with this approach.  nearly 40 marks in each subjects, same questions came for exam
