ATC certificate for PCC students

pls. tell ....

Whether ATC certificate as announced by the institue will bw issued for PCC students who don't want to give final exam & whosw articleship of 3.5 years has been completed? or it will be issued to IPCC sudents only? or it will be issued to both the students, i.e. PCC & IPCC?

pls clarify correctly it's urgent.......

ATC certificate is issued to PE-II/PCC/IPCC passed students who have completed their articleship and not intending to appear for the final exam in future.

Sir I m wanting to know this thing that I hv Cleared my PCC n i hv appeared for CA final I grp in May 2011 n m going to give second grp in Nov 2011,Can i get ATC?

Announcement on Grant of Accounting Technician Level Certificate under the Integrated Professional Competence Course

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) vide its notification dated 2^nd December, 2008 published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary) dated 3^rd December, 2008 has brought into force a new Scheme of Education and Training called Integrated Professional Competence Course. The proviso to sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 37C of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 which among others, brought into force w.e.f. 3^rd December, 2008 provides for grant of Accounting Technician Level Certificate to specified categories of students of the Chartered Accountancy Course. The categories of students who would consequently become eligible for grant of the said Certificate are as follows : -

(a) Candidates who have passed the Intermediate Examination in entirety under the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 and had also completed the prescribed period of articled training including excess leave, if applicable.

(b) Candidates who have passed the Professional Education (Examination II) in entirety under the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 and had also completed the prescribed period of articled training including excess leave, if applicable.

(c) Candidates who have passed the Professional Competence Examination in entirety under the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 and had also completed the prescribed period of articled training including excess leave, if applicable.

(d) Candidates who have passed the Intermediate or first Examination under the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1949 and had also completed the prescribed period of articled training including excess leave, if applicable.

(e) Candidates who had been exempted from passing the first Examination under the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1949 and had also completed the prescribed period of practical training including excess leave, if applicable.

In order to be eligible for the grant of the Accounting Technician Level Certificate, an eligible candidate as aforementioned is, in the first instance, required to prefer an application in the format which is attached herewith. Eligible candidates are therefore advised to send in their application duly filled in and signed to the respective regional offices of the Institute, addresses of which are given below :

i have done my PCC and also have completed my internship of 3.5yrs.

i just want to know the benefits of ATC certificate. What benefit i'll get if i get the said certificate.

Plzzzzzzzzzzz tell me if anyone know about this

Sir, If I am Willing to Appear for the Final Exam In Future...Bt Still I Want The ATC Certificate That Will Help Me Out In Getting A Part Time Job ??? Can I Do That ??

i had passed pcc exam as well as articalship training of 3.5year can i apply for ATC CERTIFICATE ?? bt i never give up ca final.. I will give Ca final exam in nov 2012 reply me

Hi friends... please help me in this ATC query.....

I have cleared both the groups of PCC n 3.5 years of ARTICLESHIP... i have applied for ATC but still not got any response from the institute...

I called ICAI Mumbai n they said that other 1 year experience is required for geting ATC certification.

I want to know that whether ARTICLESHIP of 3.5 years is not counted as exprience for ATC for PCC student?

If NO then why it is consired under IPCC during continuence of their articleship?

I have failed in my attempt of Ipcc..now planning to give may 2014 ipcc attempt both groups..I want Accounting Technician Course (ATC) option open to me..so can u help me in knowing how to do it? first time while signing up..I have applied for both groups of Ipcc..and nt both groups of ipcc and ATC..so help we with a way to open the option of ATC..reply asap..ty! :)
