My client has disclosed some assets under IDS in the year 2016-17 scheme. He has not filed income tax return and also not prepared the Balance sheet of FY 2015-16.
My question is can he show the assets declared under IDS in balance sheet of 2015-16 and file the return.
No. The addition will be in current financial year.
