the ao sends a notice U/s.148 and makes the assessee file a return in response to this notice and on the basis of this return ao sents notice U/s 143(2).what is your opinion.is such a notice and scrutiny valid.

A.O is correct because Assessing officer can served notice u/s 143(2) with in 6 month from the end of the financial year in which you had file the return u/s 148 for further inquiry.
