It means... where someone who has made money unlawfully and tries to launder it say through someones business so it looks like it is there money... but really it is not and it is hard for police to trace it....!

 for exmple :  you rob a 100 RS from a bank..then use it to buy a house..that house then becomes 'the money' ...basically u have just cleaned the money up cos when u see the house its new money...we had to do it as part of a course at this conveyencing company...!
